Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer standout Sage DoVale was named the Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday, Oct. 21. The senior goalkeeper has now won the award three times this season.

DoVale recorded her fifth clean sheet of the 2013 campaign, marking her third straight shutout for the second-place Knights. DoVale commanded the box well, stopping every attempt Bryant delivered on Friday, Oct. 18. She made five saves in the 3-0 victory and has recorded six of the team's seven wins on the year.
