KINGSTON, R.I. -- The third annual Brayden Carr Foundation Coaches Clinic will take place on Friday, Sept. 20 at the Rothman Center (100 University Plaza Drive, Hackensack, NJ 07601) on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson and features six outstanding coaches from the collegiate and professional levels of the game.
A trio of outstanding current college coaches is confirmed, beginning with
Buzz Williams, head coach at Marquette University. The Golden Eagles captured a share of the 2013 Big East regular season title and have advanced to the NCAA Tournament in each of the five seasons with Williams at the helm.
Sean Miller, head coach of the Arizona Wildcats, will also speak at this year's clinic. Over the past nine years as head coach of Xavier and Arizona, he has guided his teams to five conference championships. A two-time conference coach of the year in the Atlantic 10 and Pac 12, he has compiled a 215-90 career record. Two-time national Coach of the Year
Jamie Dixon of Pittsburgh rounds out the collegiate coaches who will speak at this year's clinic. Dixon has guided the Panthers to three Big East titles and has a 262-86 all-time record as a head coach.
Joining them are three other coaches and teachers of the game from the NBA level:

"In Brayden's Eyes, The Brayden Carr Foundation Inc.", is a 501(c)(3) non- profit charitable organization established by Jim and Natalie Carr, parents of the late Brayden James Carr. Jim enters his second season as an assistant coach on Dan Hurley's staff at the University of Rhode Island. His wife, Natalie, is a former athletic trainer, coach, local teacher, and most importantly Brayden's Mommy.
Brayden Carr was an adorable two and a half year old boy whose beautiful life was much too short. Brayden's battle remains an inspiration to us and his courage and perseverance is a tribute to the human spirit. Out of horrific tragedy, in May, 2011, the Carr family dedicated their lives to honoring their son's indomitable spirit and infectious enthusiasm for life through positive endeavors.
The foundation has a fully volunteer staff and 100% of the net proceeds go directly into the scholarship fund to help put smiles on many kids' faces. By way of service projects and fundraising ventures, they hope to provide athletic, social, rehabilitative, and academic opportunities to children with seizure conditions and their related physical needs, as well as provide humanitarian support/relief to their parents.
