HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team will look for its first 4-1 Northeast Conference start in 11 seasons when it travels to Brooklyn, N.Y. to take on St. Francis Brooklyn. The men's game between the two sides is slated to tip at 4:30 p.m.

The Knights (8-7, 3-1 NEC) got back to their winning ways after defeating Robert Morris, 80-68, at Stratis Arena in Northeast Conference action last Monday.

FDU put together its best offensive game of the season, connecting on a season-best 46.7 percent (28-of-60) of its shots. The Knights tallied season highs in field goals made (28), three-point field goals made and attempted (9-of-24) and assists (21), while tying their season best in blocks with six.

The FDU defense held RMU to only 34.8 percent (24-of-69) shooting from the field and 33.3 percent (8-of-24) from three-point range. Both teams turned the ball over 15 times, while the Knights won the rebounding battle, 42-38.

Redshirt junior Danielle Pankey (Middletown, N.J./Middletown South) led the Knights with her third double-double of the season and of her career. She scored a game-high 22 points, including 18 after halftime, grabbed 10 rebounds to tie her career high and dished out a season-high five assists, while going a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

Sophomore Erika Livermore (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) picked up her 12th double-double in 15 contests with 18 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, while fellow classmate Stephanie Isaacs (Fair Haven, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven) added a career-high 17 points on a career-best five made three's. Sophomore Miah Register (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic) dished out a career-high six assists and registered a game-high three steals.

Pankey leads FDU in scoring, averaging 16.3 points per game, while scoring in double figures in 13 of 15 contests this season. She is also averaging 6.1 rebounds per contest and leads the team in steals (23). Over her last 11 games, Pankey has scored in double-figures and is averaging 17.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Livermore is averaging 14.5 points and a team-high 11.9 rebounds per game, while shooting a team-best 48.2percent (81-of-168) from the field. She has recorded 21 double-doubles in 15 games this season, which is tied for fourth in the country. Livermore's rebounding average is the sixth best in the nation.

The Terriers (5-10, 2-2 NEC), who are picked to finish 11th in the 12-team Northeast Conference, are currently deadlocked in a four-way tie for fifth place after losing their conference home opener to Mount St. Mary's, 49-45, on Monday. SFC won at Sacred Heart (56-47), lost at Quinnipiac (73-52) and won at Wagner (72-66) to open NEC play.

The Knights and the Terriers have played six common opponents: Army, NJIT, Columbia, Stony Brook, Wagner and Mount St. Mary's. Both sides defeated Wagner and lost at Columbia. SFC lost to NJIT, Stony Brook and Mount St. Mary's, while FDU won all of its contests against the competition. The Terriers won at Army (59-47) to start the season, and FDU lost at home to the Black Knights in its home opener, 57-52.

Sophomore guard Eilidh Simpon adds 9.4 points per game and a team-best 20 steals, while shooting 92.3 percent (24-of-26) from the charity stripe.

The Knights and the Terriers will be meeting for the 59th time in the all-time series, which dates back to the 1977-78 season.  FDU holds a 44-14 advantage and has won six of the last eight under Head Coach Pete Cinella. The Knights saw their five-game win streak in the series snapped last season at Stratis Arena as SFC won 62-47 on Feb. 25, 2012. At the Pope Physical Education Center last year, FDU defeated the Terriers, 70-60, on Jan. 14, 2012.

After trailing 36-32 at halftime in the first meeting, the Knights outcored SFDC, 38-24, including a 30-6 run during the second half to earn the victory. Mariyah Laury (Orange, NJ/Orange)'s 28 points led all scorers, and Pankey, Livermore and Isaacs each added nine, while Livermore and Esther Wallace (Springfield, MA/Springfield Central) each grabbed a team-high six rebounds.

A poor shooting performance in the second half doomed the FDU in the second meeting. Laury led the Knights with 18 points, while Desiree Crawford (Aurora, Ontario/Cardinal Carter Catholic) and Livermore each added seven points. Pankey led the team in rebounds with eight.

Following the contest with St. Francis Brooklyn, FDU will return to Stratis Arena to host LIU Brooklyn for a 2 p.m. start on Monday, Jan. 21.
