Daniel King was named Head Athletic Trainer in November 2018.
An experienced and established professional in the sports medicine field, King joins the Knights after spending the last three years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Chadwick School in Palos Verdes Peninsula, California.

"I am excited to have Dan on board as he is someone who has been mentored by some of the top professionals in the field," said Interim Director of Athletics, Cathy Liggett. "Our student-athletes are fortunate to have an athletic trainer of his caliber and I look forward to seeing the impact he has on our department."

King carries more than 17 years of NCAA Division I athletics experience to go along with five years at a secondary school.

The Bowling Green State University alum, spent 11 seasons as Binghamton University's Head Athletic Trainer/Director of Sports Medicine overseeing 21 teams and 450+ student-athletes. In his role at Binghamton from 2004-2015, King served as the primary trainer for the Bearcats' men's basketball, men's lacrosse and golf programs.

Prior to his tenure at Binghamton, King spent two years as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at the United States Naval Academy (2002-04) and two years in the same role with the Georgia Tech Athletic Association (2000-02).

King, who earned his Master of Science from Syracuse University in 1998, currently resides in Montclair, New Jersey.
