Lisa Meadows

Lisa Friscioni is in her 10th season as an assistant coach after joining the Knights’ coaching staff for the 2006-07 season. She is one of two people in NCAA womens' bowling history to win a national championship as both a player and a coach.

Friscioni graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from FDU in May 2006 and earned her master’s degree in the same concentration in May 2007, while serving as the Student-Athlete Support Services Graduate Assistant. She was a four-year letter winner for the Knights’ women’s bowling team, culminating her career with the school’s first-ever national championship. She led FDU to three-straight national semifinal appearance, serving as captain in her junior and senior seasons.


Friscioni was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Achievement, in addition to her two-time selection as a Verizon Academic All-American. She also received the 2006 Silberman College of Business Undergraduate Award and the Phi Zeta Kappa Award.

Friscioni is a resident of Fair Lawn, N.J.
