Kerry Martinez arrived on the Hackensack ahead of the 2021-22 women's bowling season to join the Knights as the program's graduate assistant under head coach Mike LoPresti.
The 2021 graduate of Arizona State University was captain and president of the Sun Devils club bowling program for three years (2018-2021) and earned numerous honors during his time with the team.
In 2019 and 2020, Martinez was nominated to the United State Bowling Congress' (USBC) Second Team All-American and also won the Qubica AMF Bowling Promotion Club in France in 2019.
Following up those accolades, Martinez earned USBC All-American honors in 2021, his senior season, along with being named the West Coast Bowler of the Year by the West Coast Collegiate Bowlers Association.
During his three years with the Sun Devils, Martinez helped to lead his side to 18 victories in team competition. He graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications.
At FDU, Martinez is working on completing his Master's of Sport Management with an emphasis in coaching and leadership as part of the University's International School of Hospitality, Tourism and Sport Management.
