Brittni Hamilton is entering her second year as an assistant coach at FDU. She joined the Knights after playing collegiately at rival Vanderbilt (2008-12).
She was a four-year letter winner for the Commodores' women’s bowling team and led Vanderbilt to the NCAA Tournament in 2011 but fell short against UMES in the Final Four, where they lost to FDU. She was the team captain her junior year.
“Brittni Hamilton is one of the top performers and knowledgeable players in the country, and having her a part of our program is going to inject a whole new mindset and new ideas into our successful system” Head Coach Mike LoPresti said. “All that is going to happen is us benefiting from it and making us better.”
Hamilton was three-time National Tenpins Coaches Association First Team All-American and a NTCA Second Team All-American. She was also the Vanderbilt Female Student Athlete of the Year.
Hamilton graduated from Vanderbilt with a bachelor’s degree in Human and Organizational Development in May 2012 and is currently pursuing a master’s of sports administration degree at FDU.
