Errol Jeffrey enters his third year with the FDU track and field program in the 2026-27 campaign, serving as an assistant coach working primarily with the throws group.
During his first two seasons with the Knights, Jeffrey has helped elevate the FDU throws program, coaching multiple conference champions and record-setting performances. In 2025, he coached the women's shot put champion at the Northeast Conference Championships, followed by the 2026 women's weight throw conference champion.
Jeffrey also coached the program's women's shot put standout to both the FDU school record and the Northeast Conference record in the event, establishing a new conference standard while earning qualification to NCAA East Regional competition.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Jeffrey oversees the track and field program's equipment management and purchasing operations, coordinating team equipment orders and ensuring the program's training and competition needs are met.
Prior to joining the Knights, Jeffrey spent time as an assistant track and field coach at Monroe College, serving on the staff from 2014 to 2016 before returning in 2023. During his tenure with the Mustangs, he coached several NJCAA Championship qualifiers, developed multiple school record holders in the throwing events, and was named the 2024 NJCAA Atlantic Region Women's Assistant Coach of the Year.
As a student-athlete at Monmouth University, Jeffrey established himself as one of the top throwers in program history. He was a four-time Northeast Conference champion in the shot put, discus, and weight throw and captured IC4A Championship titles in both the shot put and weight throw. Jeffrey was also named the 2013 Northeast Conference Indoor and Outdoor Most Outstanding Field Performer and earned NCAA Division I All-America honors in the shot put in 2013. He was recognized as one of the premier throwers in the nation during his collegiate career and remains one of the most accomplished throwers in program history.
