Assistant Coach, Fairleigh Dickinson University (2018-Present) -- 2nd season
During the 2019-2020 campaign, FDU opened the season by posting a first-place finish in the FDU Knights Invitational and Nicola Smith was the individual champion. FDU also recorded victories at the Hartford Hawks Invitational and the Lonnie Barton Invitational.
In Santini's first season as an assistant with the Knights, they won the NEC Championship by 23 strokes. Santini helped freshman Tomita Arejola place first at the NEC Championships. Julia Warke and Nicola Smith also placed in the top 10 respectively. After winning the NEC Championship, FDU competed at NCAA Regionals, where Smith posted the best mark on the team as the Knights finished 18th overall.
Gabriela arrived in Teaneck prior to the 2018 season following a four-year career as a member of the Knights golf team. In her role at FDU, she helps manage the teams budget, making travel arrangements, runs tournaments that the Knights host, helps conduct practice, and assists in the recruiting process.
As a player for the Knights, Santini earned the NEC Individual Championship in 2015 as a freshman. That helped hern earn NEC Rookie of the Year and First Team All-NEC honors. In 2016 and 2017, Santini was named to the All-NEC Second Team. In 2015 and 2016, she competed at NCAA Regionals.
In her senior season, Santini was named Women's Golf MVP and NEC Player of the Year. That also earned her a spot in NCAA Regionals and First Team All-NEC. Off the green, the senior was a member of the student athlete advisory committee.
Santini graduated from FDU in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
