The Fairleigh Dickinson University Pep Band was created in the Fall of 2003. The goal of Pep Band is to provide a source of entertainment and spirit at sporting events for Fairleigh Dickinson Athletics. The band plays at all home men's and women's Basketball games, and in the future, will play at other events.
The Pep Band has some of the best seats in the house as they cheer on the Knights basketball teams.
Pep Band activities are coordinated by Director Brian Timmons with a great deal of support from the Athletics Department and the Office of the Provost. It was a joint effort by the two departments that helped fund and organize the group.
The Pep Band is open to Fairleigh Dickinson University students, faculty members and alumni, and scholarship money is available.
