FDU Knights Athletics

2019-20: Appeared in 16 rounds and was tied for the team lead with an average of 73.4 strokes per round...Was named NEC Co-Golfer of the Month on October 30...Shot a season-low score of 67 in round two of the Hartford Invitational (9/17) and finished second overall...Tied for first at the Wagner Invitational (10/28) with a score of 69...In the final tournament of the season. the freshman recorded a score of 147, which ranked fourth overall and helped the Knights finish first...Also registered top 16 finishes at the Towson Invitational (10/20) and Savannah Harbor Invitational (2/16).

Prior to FDU: "Melan brings a wealth on international golf experience and success to our team," said Rob Warren. "He's racked up numerous victories already at a young age and the most impressive thing to me a coach, is the consistency in which he plays and the humility he possess' which are key facets to having success in this game."  Dhaubhadel was ranked 73rd in the European U 18 Golf Rankings and has ranked as high as 1,495th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
