Polytechnic School: 4 years of varsity experience under coach Laura Holmgren. In 2011 she won the California State High School Scholastic Epee championship and the Southern California Scholastic Epee Championship. Also, in 2011 as a foil won the Polytechnic Varsity Coaches Fencing Award. 2012 was a silver medalist for the California State High School Scholastic Epee Championship..In Foil Fencing won the Southern California Scholastic Foil Championship and the california Scholastic Foil championship..In 2013 won her second Polytechnic Varsity Coaches Fencing Award.. As a senior, won the 2014 Polytechnic Women's MVP and was Polytechnic Fencing Team Captain... Also competed in Cross Country and track and field... Fenced on a club team under coach Geoff Russell named Fortune Fencing

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Margaret Gifford... Born August 19th, 1995.. is the only child but her cousin Catherine plays soccer for Columbia... Majoring in Humanities
