NEW BRITAIN CONN,- The FDU Knights dropped their third and final game at Central Connecticut State.
FDU gave up seven runs in the first inning, alongside two more in the second.
Ayden Stone helped put FDU on the board, logging a sacrfice fly to center field. She helped send
Madison Rishel home as the Knights trailed 9-1.
Mikayla Conklin was the next batter up, letting lose a triple to propel Briana Holguin home. The Knights gave up two more runs in the fourth. The game concluded in five innings as the Knights fell 11-2.
The Knights have a double header at Rutgers on March 18, with the first game scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
