SOUTH BEND, IND. – FDU women's basketball (0-1, 0-0) continues their 2025-26 campaign on Wednesday, when they travel to face No. 15 Notre Dame (0-0, 0-0).

- The Knights began their season on Monday, November 3 when they faced Purdue in West Lafayette. The Knights dropped the opener by a score of 67-48.
- Ava Renninger led the Knights in scoring with ten points. Leah Crosby helped out, pouring in nine of her own.
- Rebecca Osei-Owusu made her first career start and played a significant role for the Knights. The junior scored five points and grabbed ten boards in a career-high 22 minutes played.
- The game will serve as the season opener for the Fighting Irish.
- Notre Dame was ranked No. 15 in the nation in the Preseason AP Poll. The Fighting Irish were picked to finish fifth in the ACC Preseason Poll.
- Notre Dame is led by two-time All-American Hannah Hidalgo. Hidalgo has been named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons, and was picked as the Preseason ACC Player of the Year.
- The Fighting Irish also feature Preseason ACC All-Freshman Team member Leah Macy, the no. 19 overall player in the 2025 class.
Following the matchup against Notre Dame, the Knights return home. FDU will host Bloomfield on Monday, November 10. Tip-off will come at 7 p.m. in Hackensack.
