Softball Splits with Merrimack in Friday Doubleheader

HACKENSACK, NJ - Due to forecasted weather, the Knights (14-15, 4-4) battled Merrimack (7-14, 4-4) in a doubleheader on the Banks of the Hackensack. 
 
Game 1
  • Merrimack took game 1 on a bunt single in third inning bringing across the only run in the game
  • Warriors pitching held FDU to four hits
  • Alayna Savaglio went the distance allowing the lone run on seven hits and struck out four, falling to 5-5 on the season
