NEWARK, N.J. - FDU men's tennis battled NJIT Sunday at the Naimoli Tennis Center in the hopes of snapping a three-match winless stretch in team scoring. While NJIT prevailed, the Knights racked up three singles wins and a doubles victory as the Highlanders came out on top in the dual-scoring format, 4-3.
With reigning Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year Justas Trainasukas' victory in the second singles flight, FDU has now won four-straight bouts in that position with Trainasukas contributing a pair of wins added with a pair from graduate student captain
Mehdi Dhouib.
