NEW YORK, N.Y. - FDU men's basketball hits the road for the Knights' fourth-consecutive on Thursday, Nov. 30 when the Burgundy and Blue face Fordham at 7 p.m. ET on SNY and ESPN+ at Rose Hill Gymnasium in the Bronx, N.Y.
The Knights enter Thursday's tilt against the Rams having dropped each of their last three matchups as FDU reaches the midway point of their game-game road trip. Last time out, faced Robert Morris in the Urban-Bennett Memorial Classic (Nov. 26). Four Knights scored in double-figures, paced by senior forward
Sean Moore's (Columbus, Ohio/Reynoldsburg) 21 points and nine rebounds and junior forward
Ansley Almonor's (Spring Valley, N.Y./St. Joseph Regional [Mont.]) 18 points and six caroms. Both forwards were named Northeast Conference Prime Performers for their three-game efforts over Feast Week.
Fordham enters Thursday's game with a 3-3 record, coming off a 93-61 win over Manhattan in the annual 'Battle of the Bronx' which took place on Monday night. Rams senior guard Japhet Medor leads Fordham in scoring (14.2 p.p.g.) and assists (3.3 a.p.g.) with sophomore forward Joshua Rivera is second in scoring (10.5) and rebounding (5.2).
Thursday's game marks the fourth-ever meeting between FDU and Fordham. The Rams lead the all-time series, 3-0. Fordham defeated the Knights 53-50 in the last bout which came in 2019.
