SOUTH KENT, CONN. - The FDU men's golf team wrapped up a two-day invitational hosted by Hartford. The Knights were led by Sophomore Leon Heitz who posted a team-best three-round score of 215. The Burgundy and Blue finished in the middle of the pack with a team finish of 10th place.

• Graduate student Jaime Julve posted a team best 68 during round two
• Senior Freddie Spencer improved six strokes from round one to three
• Freshman Nicolas Normand competed in his first collegiate tournament
• The Knights recorded four birdies over the course of the three rounds
• UCF claimed the team win
• Luis Carrera of UCF took home the individual win

The Knights will travel to Villanova, Pa. on Sept. 26 to face off in the Wildcat Fall Invitational.
