TEANECK, N.J. -The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team (4-10, 0-2 NEC) is on the road this weekend for its third conference match with Bryant (9-16, 4-0 NEC) on Saturday, April 2. Competition against the Bulldogs begins at 12:30 p.m. at the Bryant Tennis Courts in Smithfield, RI.
Last time out
The Knights lost to Sacred Heart at the Tennis Club of Trumbull on Tuesday, 4-3, pulling out three single wins. Niclas Pietsch took Kevin Chao in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. Moric Budinszky completed his battle with a win over Antonie Hernandez, 7-5, 6-1. At the No. 6 spot, Freshman Thomas Linley succeeded 7-6 (2), 6-4. FDU has registered wins over Hofstra, St. Thomas Aquinas, Villanova, and Illinois Wesleyan thus far this season.
Scouting Bryant
Last Saturday, the Bulldogs started with a 5-0 win over Quinnipiac before sending the team to earn a 5-2 victory over Sacred Heart. Bryant holds wins over LIU, Mount St. Mary's, and Merrimack thus far this season. Bryant's roster comprises 13 upperclassmen and five first-year students, pulling from nine different states. The Bulldogs finished their 2019-2020 season 10-12 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

The Burgundy and Blue will travel to Reading, MA., to face Merrimack on Sunday, April 3, at the Austin Preparatory School.
