SOMERSET, N.J. - Senior Jaime Julve was named NEC Men's Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.

Julve claimed the individual crown at last weekend's Carpetbagger Classic after carding a combined two-round score of 143 (73, 70). He repeats as individual champion, placing first in the same event during the 2020-21 season. This mark's Julve's first individual title during his senior campaign, placing ninth or better in four additional tournaments.

His 70 (-2) during round two is a personal best one-round score through seven events this season.

As a team, FDU earned a fifth place finish at the Carpetbagger Classic behind an impressive performance from the senior.

Julve and the Knights are back in action on March 28-29 for the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.
