TEANECK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team (4-4, 4-0 NEC) dropped its final match of the regular season with a 6-1 loss to Hofstra (4-2) on senior day from the FDU Tennis Courts on Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened
- Senior Youssef Sader picked up wins in both singles and doubles as him and fellow senior Eduardo Cabral posted a 6-4 victory in number two doubles over Julien Wolfe and Guido Feldberg.
- Sader's second win of the day came in number five singles as he defeated Yusuke Nishitani by a 7-5, 6-1 margin.
- Sophomore Teodors Pukse and senior Andris Gudins battled in number one doubles with a tied score of 6-6, but Hofstra prevailed 7-6 (3).
- Pukse battled to a three-set match against Shawn Jackson after losing the first set 6-4, winning the second set 6-4, and fell 6-4 in the third set.
- Senior Maciej Autuch also played a three-set match, but fell in three sets after winning set one 6-3 and retired in the third set.

FDU will play in the NEC Semifinals beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 17 against the winner of Saint Francis U and Mount St. Mary's from the Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, N.J.
