Men's Soccer Welcomes Nicholas Addamo to Class of 2024

TEANECK, N.J. – Fairleigh Dickinson men's soccer and head coach Seth Roland announced the addition of Nicholas Addamo to the incoming freshman class of 2024 on Tuesday.

A native of Holbrook, N.Y., Addamo has played as a defensive midfielder for Sachem East High School and is also part of the Lake Grove Newfield United SC on the club circuit, competing this past year in the USYS National League.

"I like Nicholas' versatility as he can play either outside back or defensive midfield," said Coach Roland. "He's a motivated young man with a good mentality, and I think he will develop well in our environment."

Addamo was named All-Conference in his senior season with Sachem East this past year. He also helped guide LGN United to multiple tournament championships in the past two years, including winning the 2019 Jefferson Cup Showcase, the 2019 USCS Mid-Atlantic Regional and the Bethesda Premier Cup.

Addamo also helped lead his team's defensive efforts to reach the finals of the 2019 US Club Soccer National Cup, a third-place finish in the USYSA National League and the quarterfinals of the 2019 NY Club State Cup.

The Long Island native makes the tenth new addition to the 2020 roster for the Knights and the ninth announced member of the class of 2024. The Knights enter the 2020 season after winning the program's ninth NEC Championship, a conference record, and recording the program's 18th NCAA Tournament appearance this past season.
