BOGOTA, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team tallied its first conference win of the season, taking down the Pioneers of Sacred Heart 6-1.  

In singles, Niclas Pietsch, Andris Gudins, Maciej Autuch, Adam Chan, and Moric Budinszky each picked up wins for the Burgundy and Blue. At No. 1 singles, Pietsch defeated Seihi Hosokowa in straight sets 6-4, 7-5. 

In No. 4 singles, Adam Chan put on a show in his outing, dominating Bryan Einstoss in straight sets 6-1, 6-0. Maciej Autuch took down Cory Seltman 6-2, 6-4, at No. 3 singles. 

In No. 2 singles, Andris Gudins contributed to the Knights by knocking off Derek Chapman 6-4, 6-1. 

In doubles, the Knights took all three matches to obtain the doubles point.  

In No. 2 doubles, the duo of Chan and Budinszky sprung out early, defeating the duo from Sacred Heart Seltman and Einstoss 6-2.  

Pietsch and Gudins took down its opponents Hosokowa and Chapman 6-3, while William Bourne and Autuch defeated Sause and Del Valle 6-4.  

Up next, FDU will make up its match against Saint Peter's on Friday, April 6, at 3:00 p.m. inside the Bogota Racquet Club.
