RAMAPO, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team (4-13, 2-3) defeated Mount St. Mary's 6-1, on Thursday evening. Before the match, the Knights honored its two graduating seniors in Adam Chan and William Bourne. 

With the win, The Burgundy and Blue have now won out of its last four matches.  

In No. 6 singles, the senior Bourne tallied a straight set win over Evan Hine 6-4, 6-3, while Andris Gudins in the No. 2 spot, defeated brandon Wortkotter 6-4, 6-4.  

Both Maciej Autuch and Moric Budinszky finished play with the exact same score, respectively coming out on top over its opponents in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. 

Then in No. 1 singles, freshman Niclas Pietsch was put to the test, though prevailing in a tight three-setter over Jackson Wood 7-6 (4), 4-6, 11-9. 

In doubles, FDU registered the doubles point by picking up two wins. The duos of Budinskzy and Chan, and Autuch and Bourne came away with wins to help deliver the point for the Knights.  

Up next, the Knights will look to continue its late season success, as they travel down to Philadelphia to battle Temple on Sunday, April 15, at 12:30 p.m.
