TEANECK, N.J. - TEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson Men's Tennis team suffered their third straight loss Sunday, dropping a 5-2 contest to the visiting Bryant University Bulldogs. The Knights conclude the NEC portion of the schedule with a 2-1 record.

Bryant (4-9, 2-0 NEC) got four wins in singles and picked up the point in doubles via two tiebreakers. The Knights (6-7, 2-1 NEC) did get wins from Gonzalo Quintana (Guayaquil, Ecuador/Colegio Particular Pert) and Arnaud Valentin (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield ) in singles.

The team of Arvis Berzins (Adazi, Latvia/Riga Language School)/Jacob Whalley ( Wirral, England/Calday Grange Grammar School) got the Knights a win at first doubles but then the Bulldogs picked up the point with their two wins via tiebreak. The team is now 3-1 on the season. 

The top three singles matches all went to the Bulldogs. Quintana's win came in three sets over Oliver Welsh. Valentin's win also came in three. Valentin is now 8-4 on the year and Quintana moves to .500 at 9-9.

The Knights return to action on Thursday at NYIT. First serves is set for 3 p.m. in Old Westbury, New York.
