HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team (7-7, 2-1 NEC) looks to rebound from its first Northeast Conference loss when it travels to Bryant (5-7, 2-1 NEC) on Saturday, Jan. 10, in what will be the second game of a doubleheader along with the FDU women's team. Tipoff from the Chace Athletic Center is slated for 4 p.m. with NEC Front Row carrying live video coverage.

Last Time Out
The Knights scored the first basket of their Thursday night clash against St. Francis Brooklyn, the NEC preseason favorites, but wouldn't hold a lead again despite two ties late in the second half. Preseason First-Team All-NEC selection Jalen Cannon scored 17 points in the first half while only missing one field goal and one attempt from the free throw line but was guarded tenaciously by freshman Marques Townes (Edison, N.J./St. Joseph (Metuchen)) in the second period and was held to just one field goal over the final 20 minutes. Xavier Harris (Philadelphia, Pa./Constitution) tallied his first career double-double off the bench with 12 points and 10 rebounds in just 23 minutes, while Mustafaa Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) scored 12 and Darian Anderson (Washington, D.C./St. John's College ) notched 10, both below the players' season averages.

What You Need To Know: Senior guard Dyami Starks is the lone Bulldog averaging double figures, with 17.4 points per contest on nearly 40 percent shooting in a by-far team-high 36.7 minutes per game. He is joined by fellow senior Joe O'Shea's 8.8 ppg, while Dan Garvin and Hunter Ware, the latter coming off the bench, score 7.6 and 7.5 points per game, respectively. O'Shea, through three conference games, is leading the team with 15.3 points on 50 percent shooting to go with nine rebounds. Bryant has been struggling from long range nearly all season but enjoyed its best shooting night from deep by going 10-of-21 in the win over Saint Francis University at home on Thursday night. The Bulldogs rode hot shooting from Ware off the bench (16 points, four threes) and O'Shea (21 points, eight rebounds, four assists). This team finished third last season and were picked to finish sixth this season after losing All-NEC honorees Alex Francis and Corey Maynard to graduation.
