HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team wraps its trip through Pennsylvania with a Saturday (Jan. 31) contest against the Saint Francis U Red Flash at DeGol Arena in Loretto. The Knights (7-13, 2-7 NEC) and Red Flash (11-9, 5-4 NEC) are playing the first of back-to-back games against each other with the second coming on Thursday, Feb. 5 in Hackensack, N.J.

The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team fell to Robert Morris on Thursday night at the Sewall Center in Moon Township, Pa. by a score of 87-65. The Knights were led by 17 points from freshman Marques Townes (Edison, N.J./St. Joseph (Metuchen)), while the Colonials' Rodney Pryor posted 28 points and 11 rebounds.
The Colonials led for the final 38:56 of the game and held a 41-28 lead at the break. RMU would lead by as many as 25 points late in the second half.
The Colonials shot 50.0% (30-60) form the floor and 45.8% (11-24) from beyond the arc. RMU was also 16-of-22 at the free throw line. FDU shot 45.8% (27-59) from the field and 27.8% (5-18) from behind the three-point line. The Knights were just 6-of-15 at the free throw line.
Four Knights recorded double-digit points led by Townes with 17. Freshman Darian Anderson (Washington, D.C./St. John's College ) (12), senior Mustafaa Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) (10) and junior Xavier Harris (Philadelphia, Pa./Constitution) (10) also reached double figures.
