What You Need To Know: The Leopards were flying high after impressive early season wins at fellow Northeast Conference school Robert Morris and at home against Princeton, but a 22-point road defeat at Yale took some of the wind out of their sails. They'll be hungry to rebound from that loss as well as the 82-80 loss nearly two years ago in Hackensack, the last time the two schools met, when Sidney Sanders, Jr. tipped in a missed Jones three at the buzzer to win. Three of Lafayette's starters this season also started in that contest – seniors Dan Trist, Seth Hinrichs, and Joey Ptasinski. Those three, along with sophomore Nick Lindner, are averaging over 10 points per game this season through five contests.
Up NextFDU will host Princeton on Wednesday evening, Dec. 3, in game two of a doubleheader. Tipoff from Stratis Arena is set for 9:30 p.m. with NEC Front Row carrying a live video broadcast.
