HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team (1-0) will host FDU Florham (0-0) on Monday night in its home opener. Tipoff from Stratis Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m. NEC Front Row will carry a live video broadcast.

The Knights kicked off their 2014-15 campaign with a stunning upset of last year's A-10 Conference champions Saint Joseph's at Hagan Arena in Philadelphia. FDU's lone senior Mustafaa Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) drained a contested three with just three ticks left in regulation to seal a 58-57 victory. It was the program's first win against an A-10 opponent since a 56-53 win at Rutgers.

What You Need To Know: The Devils lost four of their five top scorers from last year, returning just one who averaged over four points per game – Kevin Furlong. The senior guard from Hazlet, N.J., led his team in minutes, assists, and steals last season. Furlong and three others are the only upperclassmen as opposed to 11 underclassmen under head coach Peter Marion, now in his tenth season with the Devils.
