TEANECK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's tennis team will look to extend its winning streak to four matches when it travels to Binghamton, N.Y. on Wednesday to take on Binghamton in a nonconference match at 2 p.m.

The Knights (5-5) recently completed Northeast Conference play by going a perfect 4-0 after winning a thrilling 4-3 victory over Quinnipiac last time out this past Saturday.

The No. 1 doubles tandem of senior Anna Rapoport (Moscow, Russia/#1239 ) and freshman Nicole Chis (Highland Park, N.J./Highland Park) were named NEC Player and Rookie of the Week for the second week in a row, announced by the league on Tuesday. Rapoport has also won three straight at No. 1 singles, while Chis made her debut at No. 3 singles last week and went 1-1, including a tough three-set loss to two-time First Team All-NEC performer Sarah Viebrock of Quinnipiac.

Binghamton (3-11) has lost seven straight matches and eight of nine after losing last time out to Richmond, 5-0. During their losing streak, the Bears have been outscored, 42-2.

The Knights and the Bears will be meeting for the sixth time in the all-time series, with Binghamton leading 4-1. Last season, FDU picked up its first victory after handling the Bears, 6-1, at the FDU Tennis Courts last season.

The Knights will return to action on Tuesday, April 9 when they host Saint Peter's for a 3 p.m. first serve at the FDU Tennis Courts.
