FDU vs. RMU Results
WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- The top-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson women's tennis team had no problem in its Northeast Conference Tournament quarterfinal match, defeating Robert Morris, the No. 8 seed, 4-0, Friday morning at the Mercer County Tennis Center.
With the victory, the Knights advance to Saturday's semifinal and improve to 9-6 on the season, while the Colonials finish the year with a record of 4-18.

Nicole Chis (Highland Park, N.J./Highland Park) were the first duo to finish, winning at No. 1, 8-2, over Marie-Sophie Heine and Dounia Zinbi. At No. 2, senior
Egzona Morina (Prishtina, Kosovo/American School of Kosovo) and freshman
Celine Maier (Nuremberg, Germany /Bertolt-Brecht-Schule Nuremberg) clinched the point for FDU with an 8-3 victory over Samantha Alves and Clarissa Chen.
In singles, the Knights only needed to win three matches to move to the semifinals. Rapoport cruised at No. 1 with a 6-1, 6-1, win over Carolina Teixeira. Maier won at No. 4, defeating Clariss Chen, 6-2, 6-0, and at No. 5, sophomore
Dina Guzairova (Sochi, Russia/Chelyabinsk #8 ) took care of Dounia Zinbi, 6-0, 6-1.
FDU will play its Saturday semifinal match against No. 5 Sacred Heart, who upset No. 4 Bryant, 4-2. First serve is scheduled for 9 a.m.
