WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's tennis team completed a highly competitive second day at the Army Invitational on Saturday.

In Flight A doubles action, senior Anna Rapoport (Moscow, Russia/#1239 ) and sophomore Dina Guzairova (Sochi, Russia/Chelyabinsk #8 ) defeated Lehigh's Abby Farrel and Janai Billmoria, 8-6, in the quarterfinals and are moving on to the semifinals tomorrow.

Rapoport went 1-1 in the top flight of singles, beating NEC rival Rachel Cantor of Quinnipiac, 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals before falling to Stony Brook's Polina Movchan, 6-2, 6-2, in the semifinals.

Senior Egzona Morina (Prishtina, Kosovo/American School of Kosovo) is looking ahead to the semifinals of second flight singles after taking down Julia Comas of UMass, 6-4, 6-2, in the quarterfinals.  Also in Flight B, Celine Maier (Nuremberg, Germany /Bertolt-Brecht-Schule Nuremberg) picked up an 8-3 consolation victory against Ali Kaminetsky of Lehigh.

Freshman Nicole Chis (Highland Park, N.J./Highland Park) (Flight C) and sophomore Gabriela Sarrate (Union City, NJ/Union City) (Flight D) both won matches in their respective flights as Chis beat Stony Brook's Chloe Pike in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0, and Sarrate dealt Nicole Keklik from Quinnipiac an 8-2 defeat.
