WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Senior Anna Rapoport (Moscow, Russia/#1239 ) of the Fairleigh Dickinson women's tennis team was a straight-set winner in singles on Saturday to advance to the round of 32 at the ITA Regional Championships.

The Moscow, Russia native took down Ryan Young of Cornell, 6-2, 6-3, in the round of 64 on Saturday. Rapoport will face another tough test when she takes on Columbia's Bianca Sanon in the round of 32 tomorrow.

In a main draw singles match, reigning Northeast Conference Player of the Month senior Egzona Morina (Prishtina, Kosovo/American School of Kosovo) defeated Fairfield's Sharissa Ryan in comeback fashion with scores of 4-6, 6-0, 6-3 in the round of 128.

In the round of 64, however, Nicole Bartnik of Columbia took down Morina, 6-3, 6-1, to end Morina's run.
