The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team (1-3) returns home to Stratis Arena in Hackensack, NJ to open up Northeast Conference play versus Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2. The Knights will be looking for their first home win of the season after returning home from a southern road trip that saw them go 1-1. FDU lost to North Carolina State last Saturday in Raleigh, NC, 77-67, before picking up its first victory of the season on Monday, 83-78, over Longwood in Farmville, VA.
The Bulldogs are 1-5 on the season after dropping an 88-68 decision Sunday night at Lehigh.
After playing Bryant, the Knights will host NEC foe Central Connecticut State at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4. That will be the final home contest for the Knights in 2010. They will then hit the road for four straight games starting with Connecticut on Dec. 8.
The Series Versus Bryant: The Knights are meeting Bryant for just the fourth-time ever, with the Knights holding a 2-1 lead in the series. The Bulldogs defeated the Knights in Smithfield, RI, 56-43, in the first-ever matchup in the series in January 2009. However, the Knights have won two-straight in the series as they swept both contests last season. They won, 66-50, in Hackensack, before winning in Smithfield, 67-55. Both games were played last January.
