The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's golf team placed sixth at the 2009 Northeast Conference Championship in ChampionsGate, FL on May 1-3.
Sacred Heart won the event with a 54-hole team score of 883 at the 72-par, 6,937-yard course.
The Knights shot 313 on the first day, 300 on the second day and wrapped up competition on the third and final round with a 305 to finish with a team score of 918.
Rob Cerabone tied for third overall, firing a 215 (72-72-71) and earning All-Conference honors. Keith Downey (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) placed 21st with a 232 (79-76-77). Paul Zeidman (/East Brunswick) tied for 36th with a 239 (79-79-81) and Tom Anthes (Cranford, NJ/Cranford) tied for 40th, carding a 240 (83-73-84). Andrew Nedzinksi finished with a 242 (87-79-76).
