Men's Tennis Stunned at Concordia (NY), 7-2

The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 setback at Division II Concordia College (NY), Thursday, March 20.  The Knights fell to 5-5, while their hosts improved to 6-2.

 

Sophomore Kyle Eddins (Tampa, FL/Saddlebrook Prep) and senior Justin Seow (Johor Bahru, Malaysia/Brisbane - Australia) paired in No. 3 doubles to take down Henning Ruenz and Vito Galatioto, 8-6.

 

In sixth-singles, junior Keiichiro Adachi (Tokyo, Japan/Gakushuin) held off Galatioto, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).

 

“It was a tough match to play after a long lay-off,” Head Coach Ira Miller said.  “From here we go into heart of season and expect to keep building.”

The Knights travel to Lewisburg, PA to take on Bucknell University at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 21.
