Women's Tennis Drops 7-0 Decision to Southern Mississippi

TEANECK, NJ - The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's tennis team fell to visiting Southern Mississippi, 7-0, on Wednesday, April 12.

Senior Marie Keeler and freshman Stephanie de (/Bergen County Technical) los Santos were defeated in second-doubles by Grace Kammerer and Chelsea Bond, 8-1.

Keeler lost in No. 1 singles to Nikhila Narra, 6-0, 6-0, while sophomore Tricia Small lost to Grace Kemmerer, 6-0, 6-0, in second-doubles.

"It was a pleasure to host Southern Mississippi," Head Coach Ira Miller said. "They are a national powerhouse and today we got a taste of big time tennis."

The Knights host Wagner College at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 15.
