After a scoreless first half, Bedoya opened scoring 12 minutes into the second half when Tubito fed him the ball on the right side of the box. Bedoya punched it into an open net after drawing out the goalkeeper to give the Knights a 1-0 lead.
Tubito added what would become the game-winner in the 86th minute after senior Mirza Rusevic (Clifton, NJ) headed over a pass to the left side. Tubito went one-on-one with the goalie and blasted it in to the opposite side of the net. Junior goalkeeper Elvir Prasovic (Astoria, NY) was also credited with an assist, beginning the play with a long goal kick.
Quinnpiac's Matthew Cifelli tried to put the Bobcats back in it when Graciano Brito rebounded a shot and passed it down the left side. Cifelli buried the ball with a high shot into the middle of the right side.

Prasovic finished the game with two saves, while Kenneth Lewis had eight saves between the posts for the Bobcats. FDU out-shot Quinnipiac, 17-10 and held a 13-1 advantage in corner kicks.
