Michael T. Hennessy was a three-year member of the baseball team, from 1988 - 1990. He was selected to the 1988 New Jersey All-University First Team, and was a 1989 pre-season All-American selection by "Collegiate Baseball." He was a 1989 Second Team All-Northeast selection.

Player Statistics:

He finished his career with a .367 batting average, 132 hits, 116 runs, and 35 extra base hits, including 21 doubles and 7 home runs. His 53 career stolen bases rank 4^th all-time and he also ranks 4^th and 6^th in single-season stolen bases with 30 and 24, respectively. As a rookie he helped the team to a 26-13 record and hit over .400 in the regular season to lead the team to the ECAC Metro Tournament. Lastly, he was ranked 12^th in the nation in stolen bases that year.
