Inducted: May 19, 2000

Former men's soccer goalkeeper John Santos '60 becomes the third inductee in two years with ties to men's soccer program. Santos made his mark at FDU setting school and national records for saves. In a game against New York University in 1959, Santos set the FDU and NCAA record for saves in a match when he recorded 44 stops. That season, Santos set the school marks for saves in a season with 218 and set the NCAA mark for saves per game with 21.8 mark. His performance between the FDU goalposts that season earned him All-American honors and Santos became the first FDU men's soccer player to earn such honors. His two NCAA records are among the longest standing in the Association's history. Most soccer experts believe Santos' records will never be broken.
