Panos Fueling Station

The Panos Fueling Station is named in honor of former women's basketball student-athlete Catherine L. Panos '90. Upon her passing following a courageous battle against cancer in 2022, Panos, left an enduring legacy with a gift to FDU to help current and future Burgundy and Blue student-athletes. In her senior season on the hardwood, Panos earned Northeast Conference Scholar-Athlete of Year and NEC Tournament Women's Basketball Most Valuable Player honors while leading FDU to its first conference title in 1990. After graduation, Panos went on to work in the healthcare field as a business analyst.

The Panos Fueling Station, conveniently situated within the Rothman Lobby of the Bogota Savings Bank Center, is open to student-athletes everyday. The station provides readily-accesible nutrition to the athletes whether they are recovering after a workout or heading to class from practice.
