FDU Knights Athletics

Senior Meaghan Wheeler led the FDU women's volleyball team to a 2-2 record last week. The Knights lost to Rider before beating Saint Peter's and Delaware State at the Lafayette College Tournament. FDU concluded the tournament with a loss to the host school Lafayette.

Wheeler broke Lauren Boothby's program record of 1,406 kills in a career, tallying 1,408 for her career. She picked up at least 20 digs 20 kills in all four matches:

28 kills and 20 digs versus Rider
24 kills and 21 digs versus Lafayette.
22 kills and 21 digs versus Saint Peter’s
23 kills and 20 digs versus Delaware State

TOTAL: 97 KILLS and 82 DIGS
