FDU Knights Athletics

Senior Mariyah Laury exploded for a season-high 28 points in the Knights' 63-54 win over Buffalo at the UCONN World Vision Classic this past weekend.  Despite shooting only 6-of-21 from the field, Laury was able to get to the free throw line a career-high 16 times and knockded down a career-best 15 as FDU went 27-of-31 as a team from the charity stripe.  She averaged 11.7 points per game in the three contests played at the tournament in which the Knights went 1-2, including a loss to No. 2 Connecticut.  Laury currently leads the Knights in scoring, averaging 14.9 points per game.
