After establishing a new school record in the discus with a sixth-place throw at the Coastal Carolina Invitational (March 14-15), freshman Ashli Weems just missed setting a new school record in the javelin at the Wake Forest Open (March 21-22) but her throw of 37.21 meters was a personal record.
