Fairleigh Dickinson junior guard Darnell Edge has ascended to the top of the NCAA in free throw percentage as of February 12.

Edge, who has only missed nine career free throws, has knocked down 43 consecutive shots at the charity stripe this season.

Following his 8-for-8 performance at the line against Wagner on February 11, Edge is 63-of-66 (95.5 percent) this season and now meets the NCAA qualification criteria of 2.5 makes per game. In addition, he is a perfect 40-for-40 at the line in Northeast Conference play.
