Men's Soccer Adds Fredlin Mompremier

HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's soccer program announced Fredlin "Fredinho" Mompremier has transferred to the University and will join the Knights for the Spring 2017 semester.

Head Coach Seth Roland formally announced the signing of the former University of Tampa student-athlete on Monday morning.

A 2016 Division II All-American at Tampa, Fredinho led the Spartans with 13 goals, and added four assists, accounting for 30 total points on the season.

His six game-winning goals include the lone goal in the Spartans' 1-0 victory over defending National Champion Lynn University in the 2016 NCAA Tournament, helping to advance Tampa into the Division II Elite 8.

On the addition of Fredinho to his program, Roland said, "We are excited to start working with Fredinho.  He is a dynamic, explosive, and exciting attacking player. We feel he can play either up top or as an attacking midfielder, and expect him to fit in nicely with some of the new attacking pieces that will be coming into our program for Fall 2017, as well as our core of returning players. He's a top student and well-rounded young man, and his upside is very high."

Fredinho has represented Haiti's U-20 National Team, and last summer was recognized on the PDL's "Top 16 College Players to Watch List".
