HACKENSACK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson softball team will be collecting non-perishable food items at all home games this season to help 'Knock Hunger Out of the Park'. All donated food items will be delivered to the Helping Hands Teaneck Food Pantry.

This is the third year that the softball program has conducted the food drive. In the first two seasons, the Knights have been able to deliver over 700 pounds of food to Helping Hands.

A collection bin will be located near the bleachers at FDU Softball Field throughout the seasons whenever the Knights are at home. Fans can also donate a gift card to a local supermarket and mail that card to the FDU Softball Office.

The Knights thank you for your assistance in knocking out hunger in the Teaneck community.
