BOSTON, Mass. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's indoor track and field team completed a successful John Thomas Terrier Invitational, hosted by Boston University, on Saturday. FDU recorded three personal records en route to having six athletes claim top-15 finishes.

Graduate student Jared Hanko (Montville, N.J./Trinity Christian School) was impressive in the 800-meter run after finishing in fifth place (out of 116) with a time of 1:52.03 for a personal record.

A second personal record was established in the 500-meter dash, as sophomore Jenya Dyagilev (Almaty, Kazakhstan/Fort Lee, N.J.) clocked in at 1:04.23, which was good enough for a 10th-place finish (out of 63).

In the 200-meter dash, sophomore Jasper Savoy (Lusby, Md./Gwynn Park) came close in constructing a new personal record but still crossed the finish line in 12th place (out of 159) with a time of 21.84.

But sophomore Mohamed Cisse (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo) did establish a new personal record in the 400-meter dash after he recorded a time of 48.35 en route to a 14th-place finish (out of 152).

Fellow classmate Darrel Gooding (Somerset, N.J./Franklin Township) collected a 15th-place finish (out of 80) in the 5000-meter run with a time of 14:50.50, while another member of the sophomore class, Moquiez Headly (/), leaped 6.48 meters (21'3.25") in the long jump for a 14th-place finish (out of 55).

The Knights will return to action Jan. 30-31 at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships, hosted by Manhattan, which will take place in Riverdale, N.Y. and New York.
