The Knights trail only the host, UMES.  Central Missouri, Vanderbilt and Northeast Conference foe, St. Francis NY round out the top five.

The Knights next took on NCAA Champion, UMES in a rematch of the 2012 National Championship match.   Match three saw several momentum changes and lead changes through every game.  With scores of 267, 186, 192 and 193 the Hawks totaled 864.  However, the Knights bowled games of 205, 237, 220 and 202 for a team score of 838.

“This was a great team accomplishment,” said Head Coach Mike LoPresti.  “Especially with two freshmen in our lineup.  We have had three 300 games bowled against us, this was the ultimate feeling to see the other side.”

The Knights defeated NSU by a total score of 942-622 with games of 224, 300, 181 and 237.

In the final match of the day the Knights faced Vanderbilt.  Games of 183, 220, 182 and 213 game FDU a score of 798.  Vanderbilt bowled games of 203, 202, 194 and 190.  The Commodores needed two-consecutive strikes in the tenth frame to defeat FDU but could not string the strikes together and finished with a score of 789.  The Knights earned their fifth win of the day to remain undefeated at Millsboro Lanes.

Saturday's competition will consist of five traditional team games.  Sunday's playoff bracket will be determined based on total pinfall following the traditional games.
