Kimutai Bett

The Fairleigh Dickinson track and field team got some key performances at the Terrapin Invitational headlined by senior Kimutia Bett.  The Litein, Kenya native posted the Knights’ top 800m time of the indoor season in 2:00.67. Out of 52 competitors in the field, Bett placed 13th in the event.  The senior continued with another strong showing with a 4:24.67 finish to capture seventh out of 42 runners in the mile.
Danielle McEwan
Women's Bowling
After spending winter break topping the field at Team USA trials in Las Vegas, NV and accepting a position on Team USA, junior Danielle McEwan led all bowlers at the St. Francis College New Year’s Knock Down to open the second half of the season.  McEwan bowled games of 225, 238, 225, 193 and 248 for an average of 225.8 on the day and a total pinfall of 1,129.  She bested the field of 57 bowlers, topping the second place finisher by ten pins in average and more than 50 pins in total pin fall.  As the anchor, McEwan led FDU to a 10-0 record on the weekend to improve to 55-12 on the season.  They captured the New Years Knock Down tournament crown, their third first-place finish of the season.
